Our three central clinics (Exeter, Barnstaple, Torbay) will be closed this upcoming Jubilee Bank Holiday Thursday and Friday. Please check the opening hours of your local service [lower down the page] before contacting them.
When our clinics are closed, Emergency contraception (the morning-after-pill) is also available free of charge from Walk-in centres, Minor Injury Units and some pharmacies – click here to find your local provider . We would recommend if you are planning to go to a pharmacy for emergency contraception that you call first to check there is a pharmacist on duty who is able to supply this medication.
If you think you have been exposed to HIV in the last 72 hours and require emergency PEP medication, this is available from all major A&E hospital departments when sexual health clinic are closed. Details about PEP and where to access locally are here.
