At home STI testing kits

If you think you may have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) – or just want to know for sure – our FREE self-testing kits make it quick and easy to find out.

All you need to do is visit our personal health record section, register and request a kit.

Once requested, a self-test kit will be discreetly sent to your chosen address.

You can then test yourself for most common STIs, with your results available in just a few days.

Tested positive for an STI? Don’t worry! We’ll support you with the treatment you need.

Visit the Personal Health Record (PHR) section.

Register for your PHR, request a kit and enter the address you would like it discreetly sent to.

Your kit will arrive in a plain, letterbox-friendly box.

It contains everything you need to take a sample. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions on how to collect your samples.

It’s important to record the date the test was taken. This can be done via your PHR. By entering your information, you’ll be able to see where your samples are in their journey. If you cannot access your PHR, you can also record the date on the enclosed sample collection form. Our labs will be unable to process your samples without a collected date.

Once complete, you can return the test using the pre-paid envelope to our labs for testing. You must return your samples as soon as possible.

Your testing kit pack  will arrive within 2 – 5 working days. It contains clear and simple instructions to help you take your samples.

Your kit can be tailored to your needs.  You may be asked to provide a swab of your mouth, genitals or anus and/or a sample of urine or dried blood spots. It’s important to record the date the test was taken. This can be done via your PHR. By entering your information, you’ll be able to see where your samples are in their journey. If you cannot access your PHR, you can also record the date on the enclosed sample collection form. Our labs will be unable to process your samples without a collected date.

Pop the samples is the return envelope, and Freepost them to our lab for testing.

You’ll be able to discreetly view your private results via our your personal health record.
Results are typically available within 5 working days of posting your samples
Tested negative:

Great! It’s likely you do not currently have any STIs but you still need to be careful. Please practise safe sex whenever possible to protect you and your partners.

Tested positive:
Don’t worry! Most STIs can be easily treated.
Treatment is available from sexual health clinics and GPs.
